What is this book all about?

Recently I was sitting at home trying to figure out how I could make some extra money in this topsy turvy economy. I was doing some research in how to turn my website into a money maker. I came across the Ebook “Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate” written by Chris Rempel.  I decided to go ahead and buy this book and started reading. I was very surprised by what I found in this book. Chris Rempel goes into great detail explaining how to find a niche market for products and set up mini-sites to sell these items.  The steps he describes in “Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate” are not for the beginners; rather it is geared for the more intermediate level marketer or site owner.

What I liked about this ebook

He suggests that you find just one product to sell and that is exactly what I did. For obvious reason, I cannot tell you what I chose, for the sake of my own personal business but I decided to go with something I knew absolutely nothing about. I had to keep in mind that I am a business man first, and try to keep my personal feelings about certain products out of the equation. It took me sometime, when I had some to spare, to do research on this product. I followed the instruction that were laid out in the book and found the best keywords to either describe the product I had chosen or the benefits of it. Once I had chosen a few keywords I use some other programs to identify certain keywords clusters to write articles about for my site. Once I had these articles in hand I went on to the next step in the process and followed the example site that he had in the book.  He tells you how to physically build the site and what types of programs are best to use to make the most effective layout for the site.

One of the last things that I learned from this book was how to optimize different traffic generating techniques. Such as using SEO, on-way and reciprocal linking, and affiliate programs. After a few weeks of hard work, I was able to get my first site up and running and once I had gotten the hang of it, I was able to create other pages faster and faster.

Personal recommendations

I was very pleased with my decision to by this book. There were a lot of resources that were included in it that came in handy as I progressed through the entire process.  This is one ebook that I would recommend for those individuals that would like to take their web based business to the next level. If you are able to put together a website, a blog or even something on sites like MySpace than you have a lot of what it takes to make a successful web based business. If you are prepared to invest some serious time and effort then this book is for you.

How does this particular plug-in work for you?

For the affiliate marketer reviews are probably the key factor that will help drive sales and your profits. I found that I was having problems keeping up with reviews of all the products on my site. After doing some research and serious contemplating the cost versus potential benefits I picked up the plug-in WPReviewEngine and added it to my site.  The onetime cost of 79.99 was a big concern but I felt that it was worth taking the chance on it since I had read some pretty decent reviews and watched the demo of the plug-in. I did initially have some problems getting it all install, due to the fact I tried to rush though it, but after sending an email to tech support I was able to get back on track and within a few hours I had my first site up and going.

Things I liked about this plug-in

The WPReviewEngine plug-in gave me some additional functionality where visitors to my site were able to give feedback about my reviews and even rate them. I was also able to set an editors rating to show a comparison between my feelings about the product and what other felt. I really enjoyed reading some of the feedback I was getting from the initial reviews that I placed right after installing this plug-in. I felt that I was becoming more in contact with my target group.

Another great feature I liked about this plug-in is the fact you are actually able to place a comparison table that give the overall rating of the products that you have reviewed. I was also able to setup different ratings standards for each of the sites I had. This came in handy when I wanted to have a more unique look to each of my review sites. I have also incorporated some of the other WordPress plug-ins that pulls other reviews from users to add to my sites. This allows me to just rate the product and let other people do the hard work of writing reviews. Something else I enjoyed about this plug-in is the fact that I was not limited to some of the basic cookie cutter templates. The plug-in, so far, has been compatible with every theme that I use on my sites. I discovered that this plug-in could be controlled through the WordPress administration panel which made it especially easy for me to get use to using it.

My assessment of this plug-in

I also found out that I was able to use an affiliate cloaker program in conjunction with this plug-in so I could still use my affiliate marketing to generate additional revenue. I would have to say that out of all of the WordPress plug-ins and review plug-ins out there, this one is right at the top of my list. It is well worth the price of the plug-in and much more. If you are truly serious about your review site and want to take it to the next level then you should really get this plug-in.

If this product was as good as they claimed I figured it would cost a couple hundred dollar, but it wasn’t.

The contents of this product had a couple pdf documents that outline his business principals, templates for his work, and several videos that give a more in depth explanations of his system. All of this information combined when used, by anyone that is serious about affiliate marketing, can bring their sites to the next level. The author of this program also teaches you how to use Google Adwords to help drive more traffic to your sites. If you did like I did and followed the step you will be able to manipulate Google Adwords to consistently bring potential customers to any given site.

In this program you only learn how to make money using a single product, but the same system can be used to sell pretty much anything that your heart desires to sell. You will not need any previous experience to implement what you learn from this program. I had very few problems when I start to apply these techniques to my own site. I noticed a dramatic improvement of traffic to my site and also some sales, which always is a good thing for anyone in business. I learned that as a good marketer I would have to be constantly strategizing for new ways to bring visitors to my sites.

My personal opinions and conclusions

There are a lot of programs out there that are quite successful, which I have looked at, and in my opinion this is one of the best. This system can be used by anyone of any skill and if used properly there would be no reason that you should fail at affiliate marketing. This course is a collaboration of Jim Edwards and Rosalind Gardner; two very well know affiliate marketers. This program comes in the form of pdf documents, and Mp3’s of the seminar’s that they two authors conducted.  One of the pdf files also include detailed links to all the resources that are mentioned in the course. These two authors have put together a very comprehensive guide that which I followed step by step that gave me everything I need to get my affiliate business off the ground and running. I found by reading this book, over some of the other I had spent my money on, that it had a lot of information that covers every aspect of affiliate marketing. They show in this book that by becoming an affiliate marketer you are able to generate income more effectively.

Some of the things that were covered in this course are; how to become an instant expert in whatever market you are selling to, how to avoid the most common mistakes, and how to quickly get the traffic you want to your site. These are just a few of the things that I found covered in this course. Once I had listened to the mp3’s and looked over the resources that were mentioned I start to implement what they covered, of course being the stubborn person I am I tried to do it my way and just use some of what they talked about in this course. After that first failure I went back to square one and start to follow what Jim Edwards and Rosalind Gardner talked about in the Affiliate Business Blueprint course. It took me some extra time to make sure I followed everything to the letter but I was very pleased with the end result.

What I loved about this book

This program is great for people of any skill level. You do not have to an advanced wed designer to be able to follow what you find in this program. I am nowhere close to be on the level of some professional web designers but by using the templates that they guys included with their Beating Adwords program, I was able to get a site up and running within a few minutes. I have only built a few sites as of the time I am writing this review but I can tell you that this system does work.  I also learned how to write better ads then my competition and find the best keywords for the product niche I am selling. This is not just a onetime program, but every time that Google makes a change to their system; Carson and Kyle are working on figuring out a new formula to get around those changes and maintain the high quality of the program and results that people get from Google Adwords. They include any updates free to everyone who has purchased this great product.

These secrets they claim to generate better profits time and time again.  These are the same techniques that they use and they share everything without holding back. Blogging to the Bank 2.0 is the latest book written by the young English blogger Rob Benwell. This person has shown great success with his own person blogging and has generated quite a nice profit from doing it. Many people who start our writing blogs, just like I did, had no true idea on how to make it a successful venture. I came across this ebook while doing some research on how to improve my sites. I was under the misconception that the automatically created sites where the best way to go. Boy was I wrong, Rob Benwell showed in his book that those sites there were built by hand had a lot more appealing to the average internet web surfer.

As I read through this book I was able to gather a lot of insight in how to turn my little known web blog into a money making machine. Now it was not something I was able to do overnight but I kept on pushing through and followed his 5 basic commandments mentioned in his book. The details mentioned and business plan that he laid out helped me to increase my sites appearance and overall appeal.

Rob Benwell mentions in his book Blogging to the Bank 2.0 that he uses affiliate partners to help generate his revenue, so following what seems to be a good plan I did exactly what he did. I setup an account with one of the biggest affiliate programs, clickbank.com.  The key to generating money through your blog is the use of effective keywords and phrases. One you have placed then in your blogs this will help draw more traffic to your site and therefore to the products that you are advertising on your site. You basically work as the middle man between a potential customer and the company selling its products.  You can still do what you love, writing blogs, and make money by including reviews and descriptions of products on your website.

Another key thing that I discovered while reading this book, is the fact that even if you do not have the time to keep adding content to your site there are many services out there that can help you with that problem.  He mentions that there are several sites out there where you can outsource your need for blogs and articles, some of these sites are out there are Uber Articles and rentacoder. These sites can be a virtually cornucopia of people who have things to say and are looking to make their opinions heard on specific topics. By working through this book step by step I was able to increase my overall revenue and popularity of my blog.

In conclusion by following the steps mentioned in Blogging to the Bank 2.0 and utilizing other SEO tools  on the market I was able to do more with blogs then I had every really imagined. If I can do so much with the limited time that I have every day so can you.

I discovered that Rosalind Gardner, who wrote this book, had some great ideas on how to setup a website for affiliate marketing. There actually can be a lot of money made from selling other peoples products, just look at what some people have done on eBay. Everyday there are hundreds of people surfing the internet looking for something, and there is probably twice as many products being sold through affiliate programs. I was able to use this to my advantage, just like a lot of other people have done.

It Covers a Step by Step Process

This book covers a lot of the topics I noticed that other eBooks I had read either missed or briefly mentioned. It does cover all the aspects of affiliate marketing and how to setup your website to become a virtual money making machine. I realized that this was not going to be some simple task to help my friend out, but with some time and a lot of patience I was able to follow the steps outlined in the book to get a site up and running. Once I had gotten the hang of it, the second one that I tried turned out better then the first. I came to the conclusion that I too could make a little extra spending cash doing this. So once I had set my friend up with a couple of sites I did a few for myself.

Be Prepared Before Doing Online Business

The book Super Affiliate Handbook explained that you cannot just jump into something like this without being prepared to do some serious work to get it to go right. Anyone that has limited experience with web design might struggle with some of the things discussed in the book, but with the right tools and patience you will be able to do the same things mention within it pages.  There is a whole chapter dedicated to the tools you might want to use when building a website on your own. It describes some of the basic tools that a newbie would want to use. There is another chapter that describes the process of finding a good product for your site to sell. I did notice one thing about this book that caught me a little peculiar, almost every product that was review was also an affiliate program on sites like clickbank.

Conclusion

So is this a book I would recommend that you pick up? Absolutely it was of great benefit for my friend and I. We both now are able to make some extra money even in this struggling economy. If you are really serious about making a living off selling other peoples products, this is one book I would highly recommend that you get. The resources mentioned in it are well worth the price.
