What is this book all about?

Recently I was sitting at home trying to figure out how I could make some extra money in this topsy turvy economy. I was doing some research in how to turn my website into a money maker. I came across the Ebook “Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate” written by Chris Rempel.  I decided to go ahead and buy this book and started reading. I was very surprised by what I found in this book. Chris Rempel goes into great detail explaining how to find a niche market for products and set up mini-sites to sell these items.  The steps he describes in “Confessions of a Lazy Super Affiliate” are not for the beginners; rather it is geared for the more intermediate level marketer or site owner.

What I liked about this ebook

He suggests that you find just one product to sell and that is exactly what I did. For obvious reason, I cannot tell you what I chose, for the sake of my own personal business but I decided to go with something I knew absolutely nothing about. I had to keep in mind that I am a business man first, and try to keep my personal feelings about certain products out of the equation. It took me sometime, when I had some to spare, to do research on this product. I followed the instruction that were laid out in the book and found the best keywords to either describe the product I had chosen or the benefits of it. Once I had chosen a few keywords I use some other programs to identify certain keywords clusters to write articles about for my site. Once I had these articles in hand I went on to the next step in the process and followed the example site that he had in the book.  He tells you how to physically build the site and what types of programs are best to use to make the most effective layout for the site.

One of the last things that I learned from this book was how to optimize different traffic generating techniques. Such as using SEO, on-way and reciprocal linking, and affiliate programs. After a few weeks of hard work, I was able to get my first site up and running and once I had gotten the hang of it, I was able to create other pages faster and faster.

Personal recommendations

I was very pleased with my decision to by this book. There were a lot of resources that were included in it that came in handy as I progressed through the entire process.  This is one ebook that I would recommend for those individuals that would like to take their web based business to the next level. If you are able to put together a website, a blog or even something on sites like MySpace than you have a lot of what it takes to make a successful web based business. If you are prepared to invest some serious time and effort then this book is for you.
