The main focus of Lunarpages is on their customers.  They offer unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space all for the low price of $6.95 per month.  This is amazing for anyone who is serious about web hosting.  It allows them to use a wide variety of add on domains.  This is ideal for people who have many different websites because they can control them all through one account.  They also offer software that is valued at $700 for free.  Another great thing is the fact that they give you one free domain name for life as long as you have a contract with them.  Another benefit of using Lunarpages is that their servers have 24 hour monitoring and support.  Tech support is available by phone or via the web 24 hours a day seven days a week.   Over the past few years there have been very few months where its uptime percentage was below 99.9%.

Lunarpages easy to use control panel is great for computer dummies like me who have no clue how to even design a web page.  Some of the standard features that are included are:  Ruby on Rails 6, MySQL 5, PHP 5, Python, JSP, and ASP.  This helps make managing all of the sites in a person’s account easy and simple.  They even have a feature that is an online library of scripts for web pages.  This is ideal for people like me who are illiterate when it comes to doing this type of thing.

The support that this company offers is amazing.  For those lowly, ordinary, everyday people who do not spend their entire life on the computer, this is probably the candle on the cake.  This is what sold me to use Lunarpages.  I tried several other web hosting sites, but none of them helped me the way that the people at Lunarpages tech support.  Even if they could not provide some feature for me, they told me exactly where to go so that I could manually place it on my web site.  They had minimal waiting times, and it did not matter how many questions I had or how long it took, they remained patient and courteous and helped me get through my problems.  Now that I know more about this type of thing, I have considered switching to other companies.  However, I have not found one that is as good as Lunarpages support wise.  I would gladly give up some of the things that other companies offer, just so that I would have the tech support there whenever I needed them.
